Product story

Built to Go the Distance, Designed to Stay Out of the Way

The Cloudmonster Void starts where the original Cloudmonster left off, carrying over the same iconic CloudTec cushioning that earned the franchise its following. Those hollow cushioning pods still compress on landing and rebound with real energy, giving every step a quality that feels both protective and lively. What the Void adds is a rethought upper and a broader sense of purpose, so the shoe earns its place beyond dedicated training blocks.

At the core of the Cloudmonster Void is a Speedboard that runs the full length of the shoe, providing enhanced stability and guiding your foot through each stride. The perforated microfiber tongue and lightweight breathable mesh work together to keep air moving during long sessions and extended wear. TPU eyelet stays reinforce the lacing system without adding visual noise, keeping the structure precise and the finish durable over time.

The Alloy and Glacier colorway is the quietest version of the Cloudmonster Void, built for people who want a shoe that moves between contexts without announcing itself. The cool gray Alloy base pairs with an icy Glacier accent in a combination that reads as considered rather than understated. It sits equally well against gym wear, casual fits, or technical running kit, which is the point of a shoe designed for versatility above all.

The Cloudmonster Void in Alloy and Glacier suits runners who put in consistent mileage and need a shoe that keeps up across training days, recovery runs, and the hours in between. It is equally well suited to someone who spends long shifts on their feet and wants the benefits of serious cushioning without the visual weight of a maximalist silhouette. If you want a shoe that performs seriously but disappears into your rotation, this is the one.

Finally a max-cushion shoe I'll wear all day

I've tried a lot of max-cushion running shoes and most of them look ridiculous off the trail. The Alloy and Glacier colorway on the Cloudmonster Void is genuinely low-key, which matters to me. The cushioning is legitimately impressive without feeling mushy, and I've put it through five or six easy runs plus a full workday already. It's the first shoe in a while that I don't take off when I get home.

Solid easy-day shoe for serious mileage weeks

I rotate this into my recovery day slot when I'm pushing 60-mile training weeks and it does exactly what I need. The CloudTec cushioning absorbs a lot of the accumulated fatigue from harder sessions without making me feel disconnected from the ground. The Speedboard keeps my stride from getting sloppy when my legs are tired. The Alloy color is cleaner than I expected in person.

12-hour shifts and my feet still work

I switched to these after a coworker recommended them for long clinical shifts. The cushioning is in a different category from the nursing clogs I used to wear. My knees feel noticeably better at the end of a 12-hour shift, and the mesh keeps my feet from overheating under hospital conditions. The Glacier accent is subtle enough that they pass as regular athletic shoes.

Gave me confidence to run again

Coming back from a partial meniscus repair I was nervous about impact, so I went with the most cushioned On shoe I could find. The Cloudmonster Void has been a genuine surprise. The ride is protective without taking away the feel of the road entirely, and the Speedboard gives me the stability I need while my mechanics are still coming back online. Seven weeks post-clearance and I'm already at 25 miles a week.

Great shoe, runs a touch narrow for me

The cushioning and ride quality are exactly what I wanted from the Cloudmonster Void. I wear these three or four days a week for a mix of light gym work and walking commutes, and they hold up across all of it. The only note is that the fit runs a little snug in the toe box for my wider foot, so sizing up half was the right call. The Alloy colorway pairs well with almost everything I wear.

Underrated for back-to-back long training days

I use the Cloudmonster Void specifically for my second run of back-to-back long days when my legs are already spent. The cushioning carries more of the load and the breathable mesh keeps things comfortable even after an hour on fatigued feet. I wasn't sure about the Glacier color from photos but it's actually a really nice cool gray in person. Highly recommend for anyone training on tired legs.

The most comfortable shoe I've owned in a decade

I run about 20 miles a week and don't compete, so I need something comfortable and reliable that I don't have to think too hard about. The Cloudmonster Void delivers exactly that. The CloudTec system really does live up to the hype, and the shoe transitions from morning runs to weekend errands without missing a beat. The colorway is one of the few that doesn't look out of place in a grocery store.

Converted me to the brand

I bought these on a friend's recommendation after years of running in other brands. The CloudTec cushioning took about a week to get used to because it feels different from traditional foam, but once it clicked I didn't want to go back. The Alloy and Glacier colorway was what drew me in initially and I've gotten multiple compliments on them. I'll be picking up a second pair when these wear out.
