Product story

Built for Every Mile of a New Year

The Cloudmonster Void in Ivory and Sand opens with restraint and then reveals its character up close. The light, bone-white engineered knit upper reads clean and minimal on the shelf, but turn it over or pull back the tongue and you find the gold and red detailing that marks this as a genuine Year of the Horse limited edition. It is a colorway that suits runners who want something distinctive without wearing a billboard.

Underfoot, the Cloudmonster Void delivers the same maximalist cushioning ride the platform is known for. CloudTec hollow pods compress on landing to absorb impact and then snap back to return energy through each toe-off, while Helion superfoam keeps the midsole light and resilient across long miles. The Speedboard propulsion plate channels that rebound into a smooth forward roll, so the shoe pushes you along rather than letting you sink into it.

Day-to-day, this shoe earns its keep on road runs from easy recovery jogs to longer weekend efforts, and it transitions naturally from a morning run to an afternoon errand. The lightweight breathable upper keeps feet comfortable across extended wear, and the rubber outsole pads provide the grip and traction needed whether the pavement is dry or damp. The elevated stack does not sacrifice agility, and the rocker geometry keeps turnover feeling natural mile after mile.

This edition was designed for runners who mark milestones and want their gear to reflect that. The special red insole with its graphic sockliner is a small, considered detail that makes lacing up feel like an occasion, and the exclusive packaging makes it a legitimate gift for the runner in your life. Whether you are logging structured training or just staying active through the new year, the Cloudmonster Void Ivory and Sand is a shoe that keeps pace with how you actually live.

Runner notes

Why this pair keeps getting picked.

Natural feedback shaped around the fit, colorway, and ride profile of this exact product.

My go-to for long Sunday miles

I picked up the Ivory and Sand specifically because I wanted something that felt a little more special for my long run days, and this shoe delivers on every level. The CloudTec cushioning holds up through eighteen or twenty miles without my legs feeling trashed afterward. The gold detailing is subtle enough that it reads as refined rather than flashy, which I appreciate.

Marcus Delgado

Marathon trainer, Austin TX

Twelve-hour shifts feel manageable now

I spend most of my shift on tile floors and this shoe has genuinely changed how my feet feel at the end of the day. The high-stack cushioning absorbs the constant impact in a way my previous shoes never managed. The Ivory color is holding up better than I expected for a hospital environment, and the fit through the toe box is generous enough that my feet have room to breathe on long shifts.

The cushion is real, not just marketing

I have tried a lot of max-cushion shoes and most of them feel dead underfoot after a few months. The Helion foam in the Cloudmonster Void stays lively in a way I did not expect. The red insole is a genuinely nice touch, and the Speedboard makes the shoe feel active rather than just padded.

Derek Whitmore

Recreational runner, Portland OR

Eased back into running without any joint pain

After a tibial stress reaction I was nervous about returning to road running, and my physical therapist suggested a high-stack shoe with a rocker geometry. The Cloudmonster Void in Ivory and Sand was the shoe I kept coming back to in my research, and it has not let me down. Six weeks back in and my build is progressing without any of the sharp shin feedback I was dreading.

Great shoe, runs a touch warm in the heat

I wear these for my morning run and then walk to the office, and they hold up to that kind of dual use better than anything else I have tried. The cushioning is excellent and the Ivory colorway looks sharp with casual clothes. My only note is that the knit upper runs slightly warm in Miami summer humidity, so I would say it is best suited to fall through spring for hot-weather runners.

Tomás Rivera

Commuter and occasional 10K runner, Miami FL

Finally a limited edition that actually performs

I bought these partly for the Year of the Horse packaging, which is genuinely beautiful, and was a little worried the design focus might come at the expense of performance. It did not. The ride is the same plush, propulsive feel I love from the regular Cloudmonster line, and the graphic red insole adds a little pop every time I lace up. These are fast becoming my favorite shoes.

Janelle Bouchard

Half-marathon runner, Denver CO

The stack holds up under real weight

At around two hundred and twenty pounds I burn through cushioning quickly in most shoes and start feeling pavement within a few hundred miles. The Cloudmonster Void has maintained its feel longer than any max-cushion shoe I have owned. The rubber outsole pads are still in good shape after several months of weekly use, and the upper has not stretched out or lost its shape.

Robert Eichhorn

Heavier runner, Nashville TN

Versatile enough for the whole day

I do not run competitively but I walk several miles a day between the gym and my office and I needed something with serious cushioning that did not look like a clinical orthopedic shoe. The Ivory and Sand colorway is clean and pairs well with almost anything I wear to work. The exclusive packaging made it feel like a real purchase rather than just another pair of trainers, and I have had multiple coworkers ask about them.
