Product story

Built to Roll. Made to Last Miles.

The Cloudmonster 3 in Ivory and Seedling was designed for runners who want their daily trainer to feel as considered as the rest of their kit. The muted ivory base and sage-toned seedling accent draw from natural, organic tones, making this one of the most quietly distinctive colorways in the Cloudmonster 3 lineup. It reads clean on the road and transitions effortlessly to a coffee run or a stretch on the trail-side grass.

Under that refined exterior sits the most advanced cushioning On has built into the Cloudmonster line. The triple-layer CloudTec system uses hollow, compressible pods that collapse under impact and rebound sharply, while Helion superfoam adds lasting comfort across long efforts. The Speedboard propulsion plate works with the shoe's enhanced rocker geometry to redirect that energy forward, creating a stride that feels both protected and purposeful.

The Cloudmonster 3 is a natural fit for daily training at any distance, long easy runs that need soft landings, and recovery days where comfort takes priority without sacrificing pace. The engineered knit upper keeps air moving around the foot without adding bulk, and the compressed rubber outsole bites cleanly into dry pavement. Whether you are building a marathon base or simply logging consistent weekly miles, this shoe earns its place in a steady rotation.

The Ivory and Seedling colorway suits runners who prefer understated, nature-adjacent aesthetics over loud graphics or high-contrast blocking. It pairs well with neutral training kit and holds its look through regular washing. If you are new to the Cloudmonster line, this is a strong entry point; if you are returning to it, the Cloudmonster 3 raises the bar on what maximum-cushion road running can feel like.

Runner notes

Why this pair keeps getting picked.

Natural feedback shaped around the fit, colorway, and ride profile of this exact product.

Best long-run shoe I've owned in years

I've been building up to my third marathon and the Cloudmonster 3 has been in my rotation for every run over 14 miles. The cushioning is substantial without feeling dead, and my feet feel noticeably less beat up the morning after a hard long run. The Ivory and Seedling colorway looks great with everything I own, which is a small thing but genuinely makes me want to lace up.

Wore these through a 12-hour shift and didn't regret it

I bought the Cloudmonster 3 primarily for running but ended up wearing them for a double shift on the floor after my usual work shoes gave out. The CloudTec cushioning did things for my lower back that I didn't expect from a running shoe. I'll be picking up a second pair specifically for work.

Gentle enough for a stress fracture comeback

After a metatarsal stress fracture I was nervous about coming back in a shoe with a stiff plate, but my physio actually recommended the Cloudmonster 3 for the rocker shape. The cushioning absorbs impact so well that I was able to return to easy running two weeks earlier than expected. The fit in the toe box gave my healing foot the room it needed.

The Seedling color is even prettier in person

I ordered this mostly because I loved the color online, and I was not disappointed. The sage Seedling accent is subtle and warm, not the loud green I feared it might be. Beyond the aesthetics, the ride is legitimately excellent for my daily 5K, and the knit upper stays comfortable even when I'm running in summer heat.

Great shoe, took a few runs to dial in the fit

I went true to size on my first order and found the heel collar a touch roomy at first, but after a few runs with a double-knot the fit settled in perfectly. Once dialed in, the Cloudmonster 3 felt like a genuinely special shoe, propulsive and cushioned at the same time. I've run two half marathon training blocks in them and both went well.

Finally a cushioned shoe that doesn't bottom out

At 185 pounds I've compressed through lighter maximally cushioned shoes within a few hundred miles. The Cloudmonster 3's triple-layer CloudTec holds up under my weight in a way that single-layer designs simply don't. Eight weeks into regular use and the rebound still feels close to fresh out of the box.

The most versatile shoe I've bought

I wear these from the subway to the gym to a lunch run in Central Park and back again. The Ivory and Seedling palette is neutral enough to pass in casual settings but technical enough that serious runners in the park give them a second look. On the treadmill the rocker shape makes longer intervals feel less punishing than in my previous shoes.

Surprisingly versatile for a road shoe

I'm primarily a trail runner but I've been using the Cloudmonster 3 for recovery and base-building on roads this season. The cushioning depth is genuinely comparable to my dedicated trail shoes, and the forward roll actually helps me maintain a relaxed stride on pavement. It's not a trail shoe and I wouldn't treat it like one, but for road recovery days it's become my go-to.
