Triple-Layer CloudTec® Cushioning

A stacked CloudTec® base delivers responsive compression on landing and a quick, energetic rebound at toe-off. Paired with Helion superfoam, the ride stays lively across long distances rather than packing out.

On Cloudmonster 3 - Twilight | White Speedboard Propulsion Plate

Speedboard Propulsion Plate

An embedded Speedboard channels energy from heel to toe, amplifying the shoe's natural rocker geometry for a forward-rolling stride that reduces effort on long runs.

On Cloudmonster 3 - Twilight | White Engineered Knit Upper, Wider Last

Engineered Knit Upper, Wider Last

The breathable knit upper adapts to foot movement without creating pressure points, and the wider fit accommodates natural foot swell so the shoe stays comfortable from the first mile to the last.

Product story

Built for Distance. Designed for the Hours Before Sunrise.

The Cloudmonster 3 in Twilight | White was designed for the kind of runner who logs miles before the world wakes up. The deep, muted twilight upper absorbs the mood of those pre-dawn roads, while the white midsole and accents keep the look clean and purposeful. It is a colorway that earns its place in a serious rotation without demanding attention.

At the heart of this shoe is a triple-layer CloudTec® cushioning system, a meaningful upgrade over previous generations of the Cloudmonster line. Each hollow pod compresses precisely on landing and springs back at toe-off, and the addition of Helion superfoam throughout the midsole means that energy return compounds mile over mile rather than fading. A Speedboard propulsion plate runs the length of the shoe, guiding your foot through a forward-rolling motion so each push-off feels efficient rather than effortful.

The Cloudmonster 3 is built for road running, and that focus shapes every detail. The compressed rubber outsole delivers reliable grip on pavement and light gravel alike, while the engineered knit upper moves with your foot and lets air circulate during sustained efforts. An enhanced rocker geometry reduces the muscular load at the end of each stride, which makes this shoe particularly well-suited for long runs, back-to-back training days, and recovery efforts where your legs still need real protection.

This shoe fits a wider range of foot shapes than most high-cushion road shoes, which matters when you are covering significant mileage and foot swell becomes a factor. Whether you are training through a marathon cycle, adding easy aerobic volume, or simply putting in daily miles on city pavement, the Cloudmonster 3 in Twilight | White is built to handle the work and look considered doing it.

Runner notes

Why this pair keeps getting picked.

Natural feedback shaped around the fit, colorway, and ride profile of this exact product.

Best long-run shoe I have owned in years

I picked up the Cloudmonster 3 in Twilight | White for my 18 and 20 mile training runs and it has been a revelation. The triple-layer cushioning absorbs the pavement without killing the energy return, and my legs feel noticeably better the next morning. The colorway looks sharp too, clean and dark in a way that does not show every bit of road grime.

Marcus Delgado

Marathon trainer, Portland

Finally a cushioned shoe that does not feel sluggish

I have been through most of the major max-cushion options and the Cloudmonster 3 is the first one that actually feels responsive. The CloudTec pods have a real spring to them, which I was not expecting. I run about 40 miles a week and this shoe handles all of it without complaint.

Terry Okafor

Daily runner, Chicago

The wider last makes a real difference

At 230 pounds I have always struggled to find a road shoe that holds up and fits well over long distances. The Cloudmonster 3 checks both boxes. The wider fit means no toe box pressure even at mile 15, and the cushioning does not pack out the way foam-only shoes tend to after a few months of use.

James Whitfield

Heavier runner, Atlanta

Eased me back into mileage without issues

Coming back from a patellar tendon issue I needed something with serious cushioning and a forgiving geometry. The rocker on the Cloudmonster 3 takes a lot of stress off the front of my knee during the push-off phase, and the Helion foam keeps the ride consistent from the first step to the last. Cleared by my PT to keep using these through the full return-to-run program.

David Kim

Returning from knee injury, Seattle

Holds up through 12-hour shifts on hard floors

I wear these to work on long shifts and they handle hospital floors surprisingly well. The cushioning is generous enough that my feet and lower back are not destroyed by the end of a shift, and the knit upper breathes well under compression socks. I would size true to size, and for clinical settings the lighter colorway on the midsole does require a bit more cleaning attention.

Brian Callahan

Emergency room nurse, Boston

The Twilight colorway is exactly right for early mornings

I was drawn in by the colorway and I stayed for the ride. The Twilight | White combination looks genuinely premium in person, not the kind of shoe that screams maximum cushion but quietly delivers it. I do all my long runs before 6am and the deep blue-grey upper feels appropriate for those hours in a way that sounds odd but is absolutely real.

Raymond Flores

Weekend long runner, San Antonio

Versatile enough for the city, cushioned enough for real miles

I run to the gym three mornings a week and put in a long run on weekends, so I needed something that handled varied pavement and did not look out of place off the route. The Cloudmonster 3 in Twilight | White is exactly that shoe. The wider last fits my foot well and the Speedboard keeps the stride honest even when I am not focused on form.

Nathan Abramowitz

Gym and commute runner, New York City

Strong cushioning, minor break-in period

The Cloudmonster 3 took about 20 miles to fully break in, which is worth knowing if you are planning to race in them out of the box. Once the CloudTec system loosened up the ride became noticeably more fluid and the rocker really started working as advertised. I used them through my last half-marathon build and they handled the volume well from week three onward.
