On Cloudmonster 2 - Mist | Olive Dual-Density Helion Superfoam Midsole

Dual-Density Helion Superfoam Midsole

Reworked Helion superfoam uses two densities to balance soft landings with lively rebound. A dedicated foam insert in the forefoot adds a second layer of impact protection exactly where you need it most.

On Cloudmonster 2 - Mist | Olive Nylon-Blend Speedboard Propulsion

Nylon-Blend Speedboard Propulsion

The updated nylon-blend Speedboard sits inside the midsole to harness compression energy and redirect it forward. This plate is what separates the Cloudmonster 2 from a purely soft, plush trainer.

PLEASURES x The Loop Co-Branding

Bold partnership graphics are woven into the upper and heel, making the Mist and Olive colorway a collector item as well as a daily trainer. The design is specific to this collaboration and not available across the broader Cloudmonster 2 range.

Product story

Three Brands, One Monster Ride

The Cloudmonster 2 in Mist and Olive did not come from a single creative brief. It grew out of a genuine collaboration between On, PLEASURES, and The Loop Running Supply Co., three brands with distinct audiences but a shared belief that running culture deserves more than neutral colorways. The result is a shoe with bold co-branding and a muted, earthy palette that feels considered rather than loud.

Under the engineered mesh upper, the Cloudmonster 2 runs on a reworked dual-density Helion superfoam midsole that generates more energy return with each footstrike. An additional foam insert in the forefoot deepens the softness underfoot on impact, and a new nylon-blend Speedboard channels that stored energy into a propulsive forward roll. CloudTec pods line the outsole, compressing on contact and rebounding quickly so the cushioning never feels dead or sluggish.

On the road, the Cloudmonster 2 earns its place in long easy runs, recovery days, and any session where you want maximum protection without sacrificing momentum. Strategically placed grip pads handle both wet and dry pavement, so the shoe holds its footing through morning dew and light rain without the weight of a trail-oriented outsole. The engineered mesh upper keeps airflow moving throughout, making it a genuine all-season option for city and suburban runners alike.

The Mist and Olive colorway suits runners who gravitate toward the intersection of streetwear and performance, those who shop independently owned run specialty stores and care about who made their shoe and why. Whether you pick it up through The Loop Running Supply Co. or on the On store, you are wearing a piece of a real creative conversation, not a limited-edition paint job layered over a standard product.

Runner notes

Why this pair keeps getting picked.

Natural feedback shaped around the fit, colorway, and ride profile of this exact product.

Softest landing I have had on a road shoe

I put about 40 miles a week on these and the cushioning holds up in a way that genuinely surprised me. The forefoot insert makes the first few miles of a long run feel almost effortless. The Mist and Olive colorway is the reason I tried them, but the ride is why I will buy them again.

A collaboration shoe that actually performs

I picked these up at The Loop Running Supply Co. and expected them to be more about the look than the ride. I was wrong. Three weeks into half-marathon training and they are my go-to for long Sunday runs. The Speedboard gives them a livelier feel than anything else I have tried at this cushion level.

Got me back to running without pain

Coming off a six-month break after a knee issue, I needed the most protective shoe I could find without feeling like I was running in platform shoes. The Cloudmonster 2 hits that balance better than anything else I tested. Two months in and my knees have stayed quiet through every run.

Twelve-hour shifts and no complaints

I know this is a running shoe but I also wear it on my feet for twelve-hour nursing shifts and the cushioning is exceptional. The Mist and Olive colorway is a little more dressed-down than I expected, which works perfectly with scrubs. My lower back feels noticeably better since I switched.

Finally a shoe that does not bottom out

At 240 pounds, a lot of max-cushion shoes compress too fast and leave me feeling like I am running on flats by mile six. The dual-density foam in the Cloudmonster 2 holds up through my longer efforts. I would like a bit more grip on the medial side, which is why I am giving four stars, but everything else is excellent.

Wear them everywhere, run in them on weekends

I am not training for anything specific but I log about 20 miles a week for my mental health. These became my everyday shoe within a week of buying them. The collab branding is understated enough to wear with jeans and bold enough that people ask about them constantly.

Excellent recovery day shoe

My hard workout shoes are faster and firmer, but the Cloudmonster 2 is what I reach for the morning after an interval session. The foam forefoot insert makes a real difference on tired legs. The Mist and Olive colorway photographs beautifully too, which matters more than I would like to admit.

Recommended by my run club, worth every dollar

Someone at my run club pointed me toward the Cloudmonster 2 when I said I wanted a shoe that would make running feel less punishing on my joints. The cushioning delivered exactly that. The PLEASURES collaboration detail on the heel is a nice touch and the shoe gets compliments on almost every group run. I took one star off only because the break-in period felt slightly stiff for the first two or three runs.
